Game Calls

Antler for our call.

cut a 3 inch section of antler.

Drill a hole slighty offset of center.

Make a cut lengthwise bisecting the antler and our hole. Extend the cut past center.

Make a cut at the centerline perpendicular to our last cut, notching out our call.

Bevel the end of the call and cut out a mylar reed.

Notice how the bevel terminates the trough.

Slip the mylar reed into the slot and fix in place with a rubber band. Different tones can be achieved by varying the size and shape of the mylar reed and the placement of the rubber band.
